How we make money
Some links on Quieter Nights pay us a commission if you buy something. You pay the same price either way.
How it works
When a page recommends a product, the link goes through a Quieter Nights address that starts with /go/. If you buy after clicking, the company may pay us a share of the sale, or a flat fee. These links are marked as paid links for search engines, and a note sits next to the first one on every page.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
The site is owned by Ryan Smith, DDS, who reviews every page. The commissions go to him.
What it never changes
- Free fixes come first. Side sleeping and less alcohol come before anything you can buy.
- Picks follow fit and evidence. A brand paying more never moves it up.
- Each page has one pick and at most three paid links.
- The “Could it be sleep apnea?” box never contains a paid link, and pages about children have none at all.
- We never claim to have tested a product we haven’t used.
- We don’t earn anything for sending readers to a dentist, and we don’t link to dentists.
What we won’t promote
Supplements, weight-loss drug telehealth, ozone CPAP cleaners, loans and insurance, and any product that claims to treat sleep apnea without a physician.
